Jannakay is a family affair and was created from a love of jewellery and the desire to make something different that would stand out from the crowd.  It all started with a few beads and lots of ideas and enthusiasm.  Following compliments and encouragement, a few more beads were purchased and before we knew it, there were too many necklaces to wear and Jannakay evolved.

We were taught the craft of lampwork bead making about 3 years ago and since then, we have developed our own style and designs. With the set up of our studio we now create the beautiful and very individual beads that you see today.  The beauty of lampwork beads is that no two are ever the same, making each bead individually special.  Combined with the natural state of semi precious beads; each piece of jewellery is truly unique.
